Empire State Color

$60.00

The Lunch Break at 1,000 Feet
(No Harness. No Hesitation. Just Manhattan Below.)

You’ve seen it. Eleven men. Boots dangling. Tin lunchboxes. Somewhere far, far below—Manhattan hums like a machine at full tilt.

No safety lines. No hard hats. No one checking forms in triplicate.
Just men. Just steel. Just sky.

It was 1931, and the Empire State Building was rising faster than anyone believed possible—more than a floor a day. A miracle of girders and guts, built in eleven months by men who didn’t pause to wonder if it could be done. They simply did it.

From that spirit—equal parts bravery and balance—we crafted the Empire State: a 4" x 8" homage to the building that dared the clouds to move.

Clean lines. Strong silhouette. The kind of shape you recognize without looking twice. The tile carries the weight of that quiet confidence, made to honor those who climbed with rivet guns and wrenches—and left behind a skyline.

Set it above your desk. In the kitchen. Wherever steel meets soul.

Adventure Built. For those who understand that some views must be earned, one beam at a time.

All of our tiles are handmade in Texas. We use the cuenca, or arista, technique, in which the glaze colors are prevented from mingling in the firing process by raised borders molded into the clay

Because we individually press and glaze every tile there is a slight variation which lends to their handmade beauty. The size and weight of each of our tiles hearkens back to the days of true craftsmanship.
